Guddu is angry and Amma pleads with Runjhun to not spoil her marriage for her aunts and uncles. Runjhun and Guddu both stubborn stick to their choices and Runjhun consoles Amma to go inside. She tells her that she can't just leave her brother and sister out on the street like that.
They both part and Runjhun slowly walks away from Guddu. He stops her and tells her she can leave of her own accord but she can't come back on her own accord. He tells her if she walks out out she will have to wipe him out of her life, and he will do the same. Guddu walks away and watches Runjhun leave but later not able to watch her leave any longer walks away.
Runjhun notices that Guddu is no longer there, and Amma tries to stop him. Guddu goes up to their room and sees Runjhun's sari still lying on the bed. He touches it and picks it up but as the anger sets in he crumples it and throws it out towards Runjhun. The red sari falls on Runjhun covering her and she grabs it from around her. He stares at her in anger and hurt as Runjhun looks back equally hurt and then walks away.
The Pandeys are struggling to keep the rain out, and the rain stops when Runjhun arrives. They are happy to see Runjhun but ask her why she's out in the night in such weather. Runjhun says she left her home because she couldn't bear to see Diamond and Babli in a poor state of affairs. Diamond says that his parents tried to break her marriage many times so why for them she is leaving her home. He asks her if she didn't think how much hurt she was giving Guddu. She says that she couldn't see her brother and sister suffering either.
